Noob Guide PB : Install Metamod And AmxModX On CS 1.6

Install AmxModX and Metamod :

Goto :
[b]C:\Program FilesSteamSteamApps

Make a [b]liblist.gam file

Install Metamod :

Get Metamod 1.17.1 (Win32|Linux)

After you have made [b]liblist.gam.*
Then make a [b]addons forlder in that addons forlder.
Make a [b]plugins.ini forlder make a forlder called
[b]dlls in this forlder

Done Installing Metamod.

Install AmxModX.

Get the Latest AmxModX Version ([b]AmxModX) ( Base files and also whatever mod your running so for cs you would sdownload the cstrike one for tfc the tfc one so on and so forth)
AMXMod X downloads
download that, unzip the base and the mod specific to the [b]cstirke forlder

then go to the [b]metamod forlder and add :

[b]win32

to [b]plugins.ini

You have installed amx and metamod.

*NOTES*
There is a bug in Steam where it over writes [b]liblist.gam.

ok i done all of the above i want to know where i put the info cause i have no dedicated server folder in my steam directory so do i make one myself or how to do i go about it ? Do i put the metamod folder in the addons folder or or the amxx folder maybe you guys can help me a little more on this. thanks in advance

Your Addons folder holds TWO folders :
Amxx
and
Metamod

you have to download the dedicated server from the steam client.

Hey Dygear...i saw on another site that you made an installer for regular amx mod...i wonder could you make one of these for amxX and does the installer work for Day of Defeat cause im having trouble Thanks

I think Dygear already has made a lot of nice installers for Amxx. They are just somewhere else I think...
