How To Create An Antrix World Of Warcraft Server -

Blue Text = Quotes Pink Text = Code First you'll need to install http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en Now download RapidShare: 1-Click Webhosting and install it. IMPORTANT: It MUST be installed to the C:\ directory. No other directory otherwise you’ll get errors when you try to run the server. After it’s installed, make a shortcut to the Control Panel on your desktop for ease of access. Now, go to ‘C:\AC Web Ultimate Repack\’ and extract the file ‘Map Extractor enUS.rar’ or ‘Map Extractor enGB.rar’ (whichever client version you're using - US or UK/EU) to your World of Warcraft main directory (e.g. - C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\"here"). Once done you'll find ‘ad.exe’ and a folder called ‘maps’. Just run the ‘ad.exe’ and let it run until it finishes. What it will be doing is extracting all the map files from your WoW client and putting them into the ‘maps’ folder. 1 Once this is done, move the ‘maps’ folder from your WoW directory to here: C:\AC Web Ultimate Repack\Ascent\"here" Now... Run the AC Control Panel from the shortcut on your desktop. If you get an error then it means that .NET Framework 2 isn't installed, SO INSTALL IT! Like you should have in the first place... If you don't get an error then the Control Panel should pop up... Now, click on the buttons in the numbered order as they are shown on the Control Panel (1, 2, 3 and 4). Just in case you didn’t know already, the [(1) MySQL] button is your database (for Navicat) and the [(2) Apache] button is your website which is already built into the repack for your convenience. To access your website just go to http:// localhost/ (The website must be running from the control panel first before you can access it – The (2) Apache button). For your friends to access your website they'll have to use http://<your External IP here or DynDNS address>/. NOTE: You won’t need to start the website if you're creating a server just for yourself (for test purposes etc). You're also going to have to change your realmlist file like so: Go to C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\ and find a file called "realmlist.wtf". Now open it with notepad and you'll see something like this: set realmlist us.version.worldofwarcraft.com patchlist us.version.worldofwarcraft.com Or something similar to it. Just change it to this: set realmlist 127.0.0.1 patchlist 127.0.0.1 2 3 Now to connect to your server, just make sure all the server windows are running and then log into your WoW client. Username: admin Password: admin There! Your very own private Ascent 2.1.3 (build 6898) server. Achillies This guide is brought to you by AC-WEB Register at AC-Web for more guides and tutorials! This tutorial will show you how to make your Ascent server public WITHOUT HAMACHI! Fully tested and 100% working. Part One: 1. Visit DynDNS.com and create an account. 2. Log in and click "Services" on the menu. 3. Under DNS Services there will be an option called Dynamic DNS. Click it. 4. Click on "Create Host." 5. Fill out the required fields, and don't forget to check the box "Enable Wildcard." 6. Click "Add Host" and you’re done with this portion of the guide. Part Two: 1. Open C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts.file (open it with notepad) 2. At the bottom of the file ADD the following lines BELOW the one that’s already there. You should have 4 lines in total when you’re done, unless you have something else there too. Just make sure they go underneath everything. 127.0.0.1 (Dynamic DNS) (Internal IP) (Dynamic DNS) (External IP) (Dynamic DNS) Dynamic DNS = The DNS you just created at DynDNS.Com Your Internal IP can be found here: Go to START>Run. Now type 'cmd' (without the '). Now type 'ipconfig' in the window (again, without the ') and hit Enter. You should see something similar to this: Ethernet adapter Wireless Network Connection: Connection-specific DNS Suffix - : lan IP Address - - - - - - - - - - - - - - : This is your Internal IP Subnet Mask - - - - - - - - - - - - - : ***.***.***.* Default Gateway- - - - - - - - - - - : ***.***.*.*** External IP = Your outbound IP assigned by your ISP. You can find this by visiting Find My IP Address - Lookup. Part Three: 1. Open your ‘realms.conf’ file in the Ascent folder. 2. Change at the bottom of your ‘realms.conf’ to look like this. RealmCount = 1 Realm1.Name = "YOUR REALM NAME" Realm1.Address = "YOUR EXTERNAL IP:8129" Realm1.Icon = "PVP" Realm1.Colour = 1 Realm1.Population = 0 Realm1.TimeZone = 1 3. Save and exit. You are now done with this part of the guide. 4 Part Four: 1. Connect to your router. This can normally be done by typing in 192.168.0.1. If you’re not sure what it is, then go to Start- Run- Type cmd- Type ipconfig. You should see the ip address like above, change the last sequence in it to a 1 and it should work. If you are still having issues consult your routers website on how to login to your router. 2. Now, It's time to forward the ports. Go into your port forwarding section under your router and forward these ports: 80 – 80 3036 - 3036 3306 – 3306 3724 – 3724 6112 – 6112 6881 – 6999 8050 - 8050 8093 - 8093 8129 – 8129 If you're not sure how to forward the ports for your router then go to PortForward.com - Free Help Setting up Your Router or Firewall to find out how. There’s a list of guides for most makes and models of routers and how to forward their ports. 3. Also, if you have a firewall, disable it if you don't know how to set exceptions for it. Part Five: This next part shows you how to connect. 1. Go into your World of Warcraft game directory. 2. Open realmlist.wtf in Notepad. 3. Replace everything in it with this: set realmlist 127.0.0.1 Note: I suggest you make a copy of the realmlist.wtf file before changing the information inside so you can still connect to the Official World of Warcraft servers. Part Six: Getting a friend to connect. 1. All your friends need to do to connect to your server is to change their ‘realmlist.wtf’ file. Have them change it to this: set realmlist <Your DynDNS address or your External IP> Without the < and > of course. If everything is done correctly you should have a public server without Hamachi, and you and your friends can have all the fun you want. Hey nice post, I think I'll make a server
 Joking, nothing can replace the den, so i'll try to make 1, but only for my frinds (it won't go online) so that i can give them instant lvl 70, and then kill them over and over and over and over and over again etc...

To headshot lol you can do what you please with it, It also makes good practice for when you really wanted to run a server...
To Ed it should have a wait like that at all hun and the available link is what I have been using to help people.
