Creating an animated 3D star logo IN PHOTOSHOP -

Start by applying a dark gradient to the gradient. Create "10 point star frame" shape using custom shape tool.
Create another star shape with different angle.
Enable "subtract from shape area" at the top bar. Create a circle using elliptical shape tool.
Select and merge both the shape layers. Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply settings as shown.
Duplicate the layer. Rotate a bit as shown in the image below.
Select both the layers. Press Ctrl+T to transform. Right click and select skew. Adjust the shape as shown.
Hide one of the layers. Press and hold Alt key and keep pressing down & left arrow key to create 3D extrusion.
Move the original layer above all the layers in layer order in layer palette.
Select and merge all the duplicate extrusion layers. Double click the layer to open layer style window. Apply settings as shown.
Repeat the above steps for the second star layer too.
Duplicate the start layer again. Press Ctrl+T. Right Click and select distort. Adjust the nodes to get the perspective shadow.
Enable lock transparency pixels form the layer palette. Fill it with gray color.
Type company name using a bold font.
Open animation window. For the first frame hide one of the star and shadow layers.
Duplicate frame. Hide the visible and unhide the hidden star and shadow layers.
Press Ctrl+Alt+Shift+S to save an optimized animated GIF.
