Counter Strike : Source gaming question?

What are the MOST proper SPECS for you 2 play source?? I have THESE specs of my pc.

Windows Vista
Ram : 1024 MB
Processor : Intel Core Duo 2 @ - 2.20 GHZ (2 CPU's) 2.2ghz
Memory : 250 gigabytes
Direct X : DirectX 10

get a good graphics card because it help your computer to boost up. I have emachines 80GB and low RAM yours is way much better if you add a video card. It is easy to install and trust me its worth it.

, 6 GB Ram , nVidia 8800 GT FXF Alpha Dog Edition 512-1024 ram , 600 GB hdd ... and a very good internet conexion for low ping :P

i ha source and works just fine(i have DualCore 4.0 Ghz,1GiB of ram ,512Mb video card and Asus Motherboard)

I would double the ram if I was you...you have one glaring great big problem visible in your system. Line 1 "Windows Vista"
Secondly what kind of video card are you using? First person shooters are very video intensive, its definitely a winning edge to have a good video card, shared 64mb might work, but your fps is going to be very low, which will in turn get you ganked and frustrated! Another thing with CS source...how is your tolerance for hackers and cheats? I stopped playing source over a year ago just because I was going to scream if I saw another person wallhacking!

Source is an old game now, the system you have will play it for sure, but I would definitely invest in some extra ram, one gig is marginal at best with vista.
