WORLD OF WARCRAFT? Really what would you rather see your child doing? Killing wild boars and wolves for points and getting quests to gain experince in world of warcraft? Or have them talk to a total stranger on myspace go out to meet that person and get kidnapped and maybe never see them again?

I enjoy both Myspace and WoW...but I wouldn't let my 9 year old daughter do either. Once she is older, I may allow her to have a Myspace, but under certain conditions, like she can only add friends and family, her profile must be private, she can't give out any personal info, and such stuff like that.

As long as you monitor your child's activity online, and talk to them about why some things need to be personal, then it will be easier to avoid the online horrors.

WoW is very addicting, but fun. Something your kid will enjoy, meet new folks, and possibly join a clan/guild (people who play the same game and make a 'team' together). This might help keep them off the streets and out of trouble. I'm a gamer myself and I enjoy it very much.

Myspace is also good if they've got friends that have it as well, but make sure they know it's best not to add total strangers or people who think they know them, UNLESS they know them in person (in real life!). It can help them communicate with their classmates, friends, and family members. Myspace can also be addicting.

With both make sure they know not to give out personal information. Can be dangerous either way. The internet is a crazy place.

neither! they are both gay. buhh if i had to pick one i would say myspace because you can keep in touch with your friends that way. if you are concerned about kids or teens meeting strangers well you can put their profile on private and only let them add their friends and family as their friends. all you do on world of warcaft is kill things all day.

i hope this helps =]

Neither. Both have no Pros.

WOW is addicting and when kids become in there teens they'll being playing til 3 am and never take showers and just play that all the time

MySpace Rape only happens to stupid adults who don't care about their children. If you are suggesting that you have kids who want to be on one or the other, then if you let them do MySpace, demand they give you their password and if they don't then thats it no more myspace!

As long as you teach your child not to give out any personal information, I see nothing wrong with myspace. There's nothing I hate more then when a kid goes off to meet someone off the internet and something happens to them, and then the site gets blamed. The stories are terrible, but where the hell were the parents in all this?
