ok i have a computer that has windows xp with dsl

cable and i want to connect it to my laptop window vista how ok i have the computer which is windows xp and it has dsl internet and i just bought the laptop which is made from compaq that is windows vista.?? how can i conect the dsl to my laptop because iwant internet on the laptop?
are there any ways possible if so please advise me on how to do it

Un Plug the Ethernet cable from the back of the desktop. It will be the blue cable with RJ-45 modular eight pins plug.

And plug it into the Ethernet port of your laptop.'
