heya any one played final fantasy online? was wondering if there is a free server for it?

There is no emu for it atm, and no eta for one.

I have played every FF game (Heck i still have my original Japanese version of FF1 for the sega genesis) and love all of them apart from the online version

There's a free EMU in development, but it's been that way since 2005/6 I believe.

However, you're required to have an Active FFXI account for it to work.

I remember reading a couple of months ago, that all you were capable of doing is transporting to different zones, but incapable fo zoning, you can walk (travel), log off, and view inventory. Everything else crashes you.
