No vendors would ruin the point of the blizzlike option, of course people would have the choice to get there armor or buy it but they wouldnt really stand a chance to against people with bought armor...

To many quests could cause bugs

So I am preposing a vendor that can distribute a green set of outland armor or a blue set of outland armor in which players could start at kara level and continue in such manor.

With this there are not many people that play so I am also preposing to make it so that kara becomes a 5 man, and all 25 mans can become 10-15 mans

What would also be a nice possibility is that you would make all bosses pure melee, no spells, wich would make the healing easier --> lower amount of players. And i like the idea of green/blue items from outland, since nobody wants to do the old world instances anymore lately. Do keep in mind we are just speculating

Some good Ideas fer sure! Although I'm not sure that enabling people to jump to 70, and others who work at it is a good idea. Would you want a total Noob, who you think knows how to play, join your party in a critical role, just to get the whole party wiped!

If there was a measure of their experience that you could gage then fine. If not it would create a lot of frustration and anger.

As I see it whats really missing on the Shack is Battlegrounds and Honor! I Think if the two servers (The Den & Shack) were linked just like Retail WOW in that people from many different Servers are able to join a BG, and play on team Raids in Warsong Gulch, AB, and AV, Etc...

I would think this should be not too difficult to do since Retail WOW already has this feature built in already.
It would really fill in a hole that turns some people off to the Shack. It would also create a bridge to the folks who play on the different servers.

The Shack needs the ability to earn Honor and it's associated Gear!

honor works fine mangos. retail wow may have the link built in but I dont get weekly server patches from blizzard if anyone does please let me know (sic). shack is an ok server but in terms of worth, it is absolutely worthless to me. i run den to learn, which means editing/changing C++/Mysql and by association php, shack offers none of that. you cant be blizzlike and be edited at the same time. either case I dont like wow the game so "blizzlike" is an absolutely retarded thing for me to aspire to. does this mean im shutting the shack down? not entirely, im no more shutting it down today than I was 3 weeks ago. I have always said shack is a stopgap thing, only put up at a time when den was down for a bit during updates.

Well KP, it's good to know you're not shutting it down (at least for now). I have a good question though. what should we do if we run into a bug on the Shack? Should we still report it in the bug tracker forum?

So what would make the Shack worth your while? Some creative modifications? If it helps keep the Shack up and running, brings more people into the game, and still keeps some of the core difficulty, I'm all for it. Hell I'm a Clan Member of a FPS clan, which I play alot, but WOW is nice for a break form all that adrenaline and still has the teamwork element. It's team work that makes WOW fun as well as the constant upgrading, LOL.

It's clear to me that you are a very smart dude, and you will be very successful simply because you are doing all of this positive Hackery. I would like to present you with a Idea. When the computer literate elderly hit the old folks home of the not so distant future, a MOPG game game for them will be a perfect answer, for them, and maybe the latchkey-kids of tomorrow! That is what made Society what it is today, the elderly passing on their Wisdom on to the kids before they go...
