I gave my account info to Sarin, aka Malaoxon ingame for her to check out my things and have a lil fun with it, and then tonight, when I log in, 2 of my 3 characters have been deleted, and all is left if Slytherin, with all donator stuff gone, left with undewears...

I seriously doubt Sarin would do such thing, and I don't want to point anyone, but I want my stuff back, and do something about it.

Quite annoying, indeed. But on a PV server? What a shame...

We have this one thing on the server; "Never give out user info to other people", which makes things more complicated; Each account is private and you've given your information to someone else, where you have done wrong.
I'm not saying a yes or not for your character / item retrieval but I doubt you getting them back as it would mean most likely a rollback for whole server, to the point where you had everything you lost.

its not that I dont want to help users saz, but I cant do individual backups, that would take well over 24 hours thats the day has to do individual backups and by then next backup would start and it would never end..... so our backups are done at a database level, every table in the DB is dumped automagically at the same time. so Im sorry but safeguarding your passwors is upto you. we encrypt your passwords serverwide so noone can see them from the staff list simply so u are safe from our side, but we cant help you from your side.

Hmm well looks like you better start pointing fingers and dealing with this yourself since none of the staff can help if you gave out your password.

Its not a hack if you gave it away.
