At the login screen in wow. I login but at the next screen it gets stuck saying retrieving character list and nothing happens. Dose any one know why is this?

It must be. I'm having the same problem. I was playing fine for a little while then I was disconnected and now I can't log back in.

yeah, when you're stuck on the retrieving char page, the server is restarting. Patience is a virtue

Just what Kraax says here, be patient =)
Usually being patient or giving a tell to staff on IRC might help out if the server is in lag loop

is there a connection prblem with the server cause i cant connect or it might just be my comp

I am not able to connect either.. tried on my other computers with no luck either. Hey whats the site I go to to check Server status to see if it is up or down?

if its lag looping(u getting stuck at retrieving chars) u see that server is up so it doesn't always work
