When server is looping you gotta wait till it restarts... I know its a pain, but we gotta deal with it ^.^

This server is among the best of the private servers out there but you still see crashes escpecially since the 2.3 update but whenever that happens i suggest you get a drink go to the bathroom and odds are it will have restarted itself plus if you join the IRC channel it will actually say when its back online instead of you pressing the login button every second.

Simply and plain, you use your game account to login to: www.kpsden.com - to see if the server is offline.
Second option is to visit IRC #kpsden to see the topic.

When you are stuck at "Retrieving characterlist", server is most like having a lag, or in lag loop.

If you are unable to connect, check that your firewall is not blocking the game.
Also remember to check, that you have correct realmlist.
