The above SSs show hunterl starting to run away from this guy. This went on for two laps till I told him to stop for another hitting SS.

The trouble with the combat log is that it didn't happen to me. I didn't see the damage being done to him there. All I have to back this up is my word. I saw the beginning of this, because the douche said hey to me first, and apparently didn't try to take me on.

in the first SS there is combat log, he is affected by consecration and is taking damage, he is not reacting

True TFM but who knows who started the whole thing. Hunterl could have attacked the pallly first which made him chase around. But then again the pally could have attacked him first.

Hmm I dont think theres enough proof, you dont know who started it...Im not saying you did but you could of started it then took the screenshot to pin it on him?

Note that I'm mounted the entire time... And besides that, the idea of this kind of acting out a ganking is very far fetched if you ask me. But no, I didn't start this, I just witnessed it.

well as i see the hunter is a lvl 50 something and the pala is 100+ so why the heck should an player about 50 lvl's lower attack him....if he knows he can get killed..

First of all just because you get attacked does not mean you have the right to fight back, and attack BB NPC like the paladin was doing in the first screen shot. There is no evidence providing that the hunter did anything, where the paladin is the one doing all the damage.

Another note: there is no possible way in the combat log to say someone started a fight. Its up to GM/Moderators to choose who started it based on the evidence provided.

The rule states that:

If a player attacks you it is considered "Gank"
But if you Retaliate you fight back and the ganking is therefore removed.

Basicly if you fight back against the ganker, your not doing any good also. If you fight back case closed. It can turn out either way. You die or He dies.

But, if you don't fight back you can SS the combat log to prove that he attacked you first and you didn't retaliate.
