When in a high level area, I loot a weapon that I have never used before. It has much higher dps and I think....cool this will be so easy...but when I fight the next mob, what happend? I don´t even hit the dude. I have to warp back and practice on low lvl´s for like an hour to get the skill that is needed to hit. Is there a way to learn faster? Is it to equip gear with high intellect?

You just need to level the weapon skills, just like everyone else does.

If its a 1h weapon dual wield, 2 will make your skill go up faster, only shamans,rouges,and warriors can duel wield i think?

I know this, but if my max skill is 750 it will take 2800 blows with this weapon to reach max skill. And before I reach 50% of my max skill, I will not hit my target. That´s what´s bothering me a bit. Otherwise it´s great. I love this server.

Yeah, leveling weapons takes forever.

yeah my 1h sword skill still isnt maxed out and ive been 255 for awhile now....lol

The easy way to lvl wep skill is to get into a raid when u get to a high level and just let it sit there pounding away with the wepon.
e.g. i got to 255 and picked up a 100.2 dps 1h ax
