I think server goes down like this on purpose to make people become more active on the forums and in IRC, Conspiracy I say! To make us more active here!!!!

It just shows the community growing more and more, and making the server even better.

the server doesn't usually go offline though, in theory it boots you to the realmlist and performs a memory +page file dumb so the process doesn't completely crash, not many ways around it, if the emu was able to unload while the process was open then it wouldn't need to do a dump every now and then, but that being said it's not easy and playing around in the cosmos isn't recommended bios's arnt very reliable though the only way to change the way active processes page file dumps work no?

I can neither confirm nor deny a plot to make the players be more active on irc/forums

now, to be a little more serious: Even if the server is constantly online, we still want the players to be more active on the forums and irc, to make the community grow and prosper. Remember, we try to do what is best for the server and the playerbase, but we also need your help with suggestions and other problems. We can't always know what stuff is broken and bugged, hence why we forward the bug whispers to the forums. It makes it ALOT easier for us to look into things by having a proper entry on the bug tracker instead of whispers ingame

So, be more active and helpful and the server will only get better

i still beleive in the conspiracy KP just does evil stuff like this
