It's not the operating system's fault, it's the person who uses it. I made a server on my Windows Vista, and it works quite fine, if it wasnt for the database error i keep getting when i try to log in. But that's not cuz of Vista either, it's also my own fault, i didn't update the database, and since making ur own server is kinda dumb with a "slow" internet connection, i just stopped working on it. Just try googling the error, u will find the solution then.
