Well basicly last night (27. june) i started on the quest for rogues to obtain poison making skill. It started out well, with some minor difficulties (like lvling lockpicking up to 70 with 5+ min respawn of bugged chests) but i managed to get it fixed. I had already obtained one quest item ( Defias tower key) from a mob that i had to pickpocket. When i tried to obtain the second (Klaven mortwake's journal) from a chest in westfall the chest appeared to be empty. I have not tried every possible choice i can think off to try to get it (being in raid\party changing looting type etc) but the journal just wont show up in the chest. i have talked to other rogues, including both horde and alliance. Horde has it much easier it seems from what i heard, they don't need lockpicking skill or anything to open the chest and their q item is easily obtained. The alliance rogues i have spoken to had the same troubles like me with the lockpicking, but managed to open the chest after they got it up, and got their item (this was some time ago tho).
I do not know what's causing the problems for me, maybe its recent mangos changes or maybe its because im a human rogue (havent talked to any other human rogues about it yet) but it would be really nice if the bug were to be fixed (maybe put it in the BB vendors or something would be easier)

Hmmm I know we had the issue did you try killing the guy by the chest to see if its on him. I know KP fixed it a couple weeks ago but maybe it is borked again.

tried to kill him, pickpocket him, have him sapped while opening, yet nothing works... He isn't really part of the quest anyway hes just a guard of the chest or something.
