So when I try and login I get a message saying my account is set up for The Burning Crusade, but since I dont have TBC installed on my comp it wont let me login.

I don't know why it says this since I signed up for a normal account and have been logging in and playing for about a week now on this account.

Help would be appreciated!

Alright, I'm just gonna install TBC and see if it works with that...

If you log into the den site you can change your account back to non-TBC.

I didn't see anywhere to change that in there. The only thing available to change was the name/pass/email and then the language settings.

I had problems installing TBC and then patching it, so I am having to reinstall everything now. Hopefully I will be able to get TBC up and running, but in either case, it would be good to know if you can change the game setting manually somewhere on here that I was just not seeing...

just post and we can change it for you if TBC doesnt work out for you.

if you're trying to log in i suppose you already got the the right version (2.0.12) so i wont post the patches link nor will i say that you need at least version 2.0.0 in order to be able to install tbc (oops i just said it).
if you're having problems with the tbc you downloaded you can try this, it is where i got my bc from, works fine and its a really quick dl (i got it in about one hour or right over it): Stormrager Productions: Downloads / WoW Full Clients / The Burning Crusade Full Client
