Outdoor Raid boss (40 or so people needed) -
May 3rd, 2007
An OUTDOOR Raid Boss... 40 or more people required *gasp* however, drops t5 chest and legs tokens. (at the same time!)
Umm, before, that 10 man boss I posted, just put him in like Kara lol, he's 10 man, no need for him to wander around aimlessly in Hellfire...
Hel-Reaver Shinkata (based on one of my chars on live servers)
lvl 255
25,000,000 hp (this guy's gonna make Kael and Vashj look like weaklings!)
7000-9000 base damage (SPAM THOSE HEALS!)
3.5 atk speed
Spells:
Intercept (use spell from Gargolmar in HEROIC [if possible] if not then use regular)
don't remember spell name, but it's like this poison attack from Hellmaw... reduces armor and does AOE damage like Cone of Cold
Blink - obvious, no? Shazzrah's is prolly best
Enrage - enrages every 30 seconds or something... Sartura's SOFT (or easy) enrage will do nicely!
Shadow Shock - gotta be one around here somewhere, any will do, keep those healers on their toes
at 20% he pallybubbles, there's a script for something like this in Shadowfang Keep... one of the bosses, a commander springfield or something
Hel-Knight (4 of them, can be sheeped)
lvl 62 (not a typo)
500,000 hp
20000-25000 (not a typo either)
2.5 atk speed
Spells: see below
This is meant to be like the Instructor Rasuvious fight on live, mind control a guard and get him to tank. The Hel-Knight should have the same spells as those Trainees that are around Rasuvious, they do more damage and have more hp, but NO ARMOR. Should not be tanked by warrior... look at the damage if they do hit it's 2 or 3 shotted warrior. The level is a bug regarding Mind Control, but also... the lower level will make it easier for Shinkata to kill the Hel-Knights. A main tank should be also adding sunders if possible. This way the strat goes:
-Mind Control Hel-Knight. Sheep other Hel-Knight. Main tank and Hel-Knight both start attacking boss, compiling threat. No need to heal Hel-Knights...
-First Hel-Knight dies... aggro on main tank. Other Hel-Knight is mind controlled. Taunts, sunders, gets aggro from boss. Main tank is still adding threat. Rinse and repeat.
-What makes this hard is re-mind controlling the add without dying. Warriors should use piercing howl when mind control wears off. Priests need to tell warriors MC is wearing off. Mages can also slow if needed.
-After the last Hel-Knight dies, main tank resumes tanking, without the benefit of ultra high damage and hp. Now healers need to concentrate on main tank. Offtanks also should add threat.
-If the main tank should die... then offtanks need to take over with taunt and sunders and revenge. (note: BAD HEALERS! Stop daydreaming!)
