i am supposed to be able to skin wolves winse they are beasts but they do not seem to be able to, im tried the ones in ewlynn and i mean all over

it should say in red "requires skinning 70" or whatever if your skill is too low. Are you getting anything like that? Try skinning a sheep (you get wool).

. . . i know, thats how ive been lvling it every now and then, i am wondering why cant i skin wolves it does not even have the skinnable word, it does not work

Not sure... I got Finkle's skinner off Beast today, so I'll probably pick up skinning if it works =\

Skinning works by multiplying the level of the beast by 5, so basically skinning is pretty well fubar'd since it only goes up to a max of 300 and the mobs get up to level 250+... 1000 > 300. =/

most skill should go upto 1275 not 300.

I think some mob listing is wrong as when you hover over a mob it should tell you things like tameable and when its dead you should see skinable but its not happening with mobs.
