We have a bunch of extra computers over at my one friends house and I was thinking about setting up one as my own dedicated server (more LAN based), or clustering them if ones not strong enough for a hand full of people. My main question is where do you get the software to set up a world of warcraft private server? Any advice for setting it up after i get the software is also very helpful. Thanks for the replies!

Search Google for Anyrix or ManGOS Packages, or just search google video, and or youtube for Guides. I am curently running my own Server on 1.14.x for people in my community to play on, we aren't accepting out-of-city players so dont ask me. good luck with your own server Tomcat, oh and you might also need hamachi, which you can get at Hamachi.cc , unless your willing to pay 20$ for some other crap.

Read the second post on this thread, lol. And yeah that is kind of redundant, but i dont believe that he is going to make his server public, for thats cost lots of monay, im talking like a private private server. I have my own, but i still play here.
