[Den] I have an event idea: Escort or Carry the flag

I have no idea if the den has these events but i'd liek to post em':

The escort event sounds much like the event when you have to protect someone for a set amount of time AKA, survival event.

But this is kinda differend:
You have 1 faction (lets say Horde) and they have a VIP who they have to escort from 1 location to another (lets say from orgrimmar to thunder bluff) and the other faction (Alliance) has to kill that VIP before they reach the target location (Thunder Bluff).
The escort party can use any speed increase they can think of but the VIP can't use a mount, but he can use aspects, meta and enchant speeds, travel form etc...
The faction that is escorting can only use roads, so no shortcuts for the VIP, but the guys protecting the VIP can use shortcuts.

If the VIP dies, Alliance wins, if he makes it to Thunder Bluff, the Horde wins.

That's the whole basic idea!

Now, the Carry The Flag event is just like escort, same rules apply, exept you have to carry the flag of your faction (The GM gives you the flag from WSG) from 1 location or city to another 1.
Players can exchange the flag with each other (They drop it and the other guy picks it up) as many times as they want, as long as the other faction doesn't get it.

Same rules apply meaning the flag carrier (that is like the VIP) can't use a mount because the flag drops if they mount a mount.
The flag can only be carryied on roads, the GM will fly above it to make shure!

Those are my ideas for now, please try them and tell me what you think

Major problem with escort event is that the whole other faction attacks the VIP, so it's best to get locks to use fear and keep the other faction scattered.
We tried it on my local area network server, and everyone attacks the VIP.

That's rather the idea of attacking and killing the VIP o.O...

bounty hunt is kinda similiar to this, a few slight changes to the rules, but very similiar.

I know, that's where i got the idea, only in Bounty Hunt you don't have to have bodyguard, here you must have at least 5 people to protect you.
