Sure, we all deserve a 2nd chance, but he decided to burn bridges and commit social suicide when chances *were* still available to him.
He decided to got out shooting when a single, minuscule gesture of seeming atonement - just for appearances' sake - would have sufficed to defuse the whole thing.

Is there any new evidence suggesting that he was wrongfully condemned to a ban? No.

Is there any new evidence that even remotely suggests he deserves a new trial? No.

Did he take advantage of any of the chances offered way back then to make amends? No.

Three strikes and, in my book, he's out.

And that's not even considering that I think he wants back in here because there's a definite possibility that he's managed to get banned everywhere else he's played (in my experience, his kind of behavior is symptomatic of a general disregard for social consensus everywhere)...
