what type of graphic slot do you have available?

PCI-express, AGP, or plain PCI?

if you dont know, post your computers make and model #

ie: compaq presario 5280

the compaq should have a model number on the front..

or a tag on the back

or right click the "my computer" icon on your desktop, and click "properties".. and it should tell you the model number on the first page you see..

the number should be 4-7 digits and may or may not contain a letter or two

EDIT: hmm you sure the 7550 isnt the monitor model #?

i need the number on the tower, i cannot find anything from compaq that references a 7550 besides a monitor??

actually that 55277-OEM-0011903-00101 number is the windows product ID..not the number i need

i dont have yahoo messenger.lol.sorry

try this again

right click the "my computer" icon on your desktop, and click "properties".. and it should tell you the model number on the first page you see..

itll be under the 55277-OEM-0011903-00101 number..

compaq presario xxxx

im surprised there isnt a number on front of the PC
