I guess the problem should not be with the code.It is something with which you update your profile.Myspace uses javascript when you enter the capatcha after editing your profile.you should carefully and in no time enter the capatcha correctly so that the code works.capatcha gets refreshed automatically after a few moments as it uses javascript.
