I am preparing a SQL Server cert. However some friends told me to learn Mysql using linux. But I know nothing about linux so will it be a good idea to use it on Windows? If not how much linux do I need to know in order to use Mysql on linux? That will be a complement to my SQL Server 2005 Cert. Is it necessary? Will it make me more marketable? How long will it take me. I am 46 and have some experience with computers. Thank you & Merry Christmas
