Voice isn't supported on the server, As it probably wont be for a while..
Though, you can use the TeamSpeak server, as instructed here

Just invite people you go to do something in a group with, to come on the TS and you can talk to them that way if they want to even do it.
Of course, you can ask them to hangout with you there as well.
