As for tips; Do
not use Blizz launcher from World of Warcraft directory, it will start downloading updates automatically!
The Den tends to have notifications on forums about latest patches and such!
Help for connecting to The Den!
Either modify the "realmlist.wtf" file in your World of Warcraft directory so that it contains what's in the following code box;

Note: US Version is same but you change EU to US
