how do you network two vista computers set up on a

wireless home system? both computers i would like to network are vistas, one of them is connected to a wireless router
& the other is connected to the network by a wireless adapter.
the internet connection works fine but we can't seem to network the two systems together so i can transfer files from one to the other.
please help.
