cause a virus or anything else bad to my pc? i got a new laptop today and dont want it to go slow

Download it then scan it with AVG or any anti virus software you have. If it says threat detected, go to control panel, add/remove programs and uninstall adobe. If it is virus free then you can keep it.

You cannot scan it otherwise.

no got to the actual adobe flashplayer site though and it will be a virus and spyware dree download.

Make sure you download the flashplayer 9.0 as the others pretty much dont work any longer.
