Will my new laptop run Counter Strike Source without it...

...being choppy? I have a Presario C500
It has an Intel Celeron running 520@1.60 GHz
It has a RAM 1526 MB
I just downloaded the newest DirectX video thing and i download/purchased Counter Strike Source. I tried to run it but it is mega choppy and lags very badly. I dont really know what to do. Do I need to get a new graphics card or something. PLEASE I NEED HELP!!!!!!
I dont really understand any of this, im just reading it off of the computer system things.

You need a new laptop.. Intel Celeron ? thats reallly old stuff, I havent seen a laptop yet over the past few months which isnt dual core..

If your motherboard allows you to fit a gfx card (which I dont think it does since it's reallly old) then that would help too..
