im having trouble figuring out how to repair my weapons------and i have but 17 copper pieces and can seem t get anywhere -----like im going in circles for like a day---
please enlighten----

Every non player character that sells weapons or arrows can repair your weapons. If you talk to them, there should be a repair icon in the bottom right of the window that opens.

ok, two things:

1) as the previous poster said, nearly any vendor who sells weapons or armor will be able to reapir your items. the icon for 'repair an item' or 'repair all items' is near the bottom of the vendors window, and it looks like a little anvil.

2) If you are still playing with pretty low weapons/armor (under levels 6-8ish I figure) you may as well not bother with repairing anyway - you'll be replacing all that soon enough anyway. Exception being if youve died a LOT...and your gear is actually broken (and then I think I'd start the character over and take it a little more slowly)

Ok, the absolute best way to make money in WoW - theres 2 things. First of all DO QUESTS. That is the fastest way to get rewards (so you dont have to buy gear right away) and money and is the absolute fastest way to level...and the higher your level, the more you can kill and loot and the loot gets much better as you level up. Second, when you hit level 6 you can learn 'professions'. Everyone can learn first aid, cooking, and fishing, but then you can learn 2 more. Until you really get a feel for the game and learn the world and how it all works, I STRONGLY recommend taking 2 'gathering' professions. Take skinning and mining (the 2 I found best personally) or skinning and herbing. No, you cant make cool stuff with those - its just gathering raw resources...but taking your skins and ores or herbs to the AH (make sure you look up what that copper ore/light leather/peacebloom is selling for before you just slap it up there!) will help you make money a LOT faster than if you went mining and blacksmithing, or skinning and LW. "crafting" professions can cost a lot to level, and ones like jewelcrafting or enchanting can be a real money sink. Also, AUCTION those green items that drop for you that you arent going to keep for yourself! Even some white items can fetch a decent bit more cash on the auction house than if you just sold it to a vendor. And all those grey trashy items like 'broken fang' and 'rotting bear carcass' - sell them to a vendor!! My lowbie characters have plenty of silver to see them through their upgrades and training and everything else just from vendoring grey crap (I never have to send them cash from my higher characters to speed things along)....once you figure out how to use the auction hall on top of that, life gets a LOT easier.

Last bit of advice: TAKE YOUR TIME. Don't rush into things, take time to explore with your first toon. WoW is a HUGE world, and if you just try to charge in and powerlevel and focus just on gear/weapons, you'll miss a lot of cool stuff.
