I saw the wow advert and it says go on trywarcaft.com, I downloaded the trial and every time I press agree it says "failed to read from internet, please close all applications and try again," even though i have no applications running, what is wrong, and more important, does this mean if i try to play the full game it won't work, please answer.

Make sure a firewall isn't blocking the game from connecting to the internet (I'm working on downloading WoW to my laptop as I write this and have all had types of issues, for some reason).
