Why when i highlight a word or sentence i want to be bold or underlined in microsoft word, it changes my whole text document to bold or underlined?
i'm only highlighting the title at the top of the page and it's changing everything... i can't even centre the title as everything gets centred!!!
how do i check the layout settings?

i'm just doin what i usually do, highlight and click bold etc

i know theres nothing wrong with microsft word because this has only ever happened in college
