I wouldn't suggest it unless you have the money to spend. I'm still using 3.0 and it gets the job done.

The latest version of photoshop is CS2 and it is really no different. They are just milking the market like Microsoft did with Vista. Be a smart consumer and stick with what you have and maybe you can spend the money trying something new like Paintshop Pro.
